Having been at this for a while, we're well aware that what one member may need or want may not be the same as another. School owners and students have very distinct wants and needs so a one size fits all approach just wont work.
We also recognize that even with the modern tech advancements, things like verifying ranks still take some time.
The USBBF has what could be called an "ala carte" approach.
First you become a member.
After that you can choose to have your rank verified, perhaps align your school (Member or Certified School), pursue anything the USBBF offers.

Annual Membership
Memberships Renewable online.
Life Membership
Valid for LIFE - no renewals, no reminders, no expiration.
Once your membership is processed and approved you will receive your membership package.
Rank Recognition Information
You've worked for years and take pride in the rank you've earned. The last thing you want is to think that the organization you're a member of is blindly selling membership or worse - rank.
This WILL NOT HAPPEN HERE!
Every membership application is reviewed and yes if warranted, may be rejected.
Our rank verification process is a separate process and every effort is taken to verify and validate ranks.
A member can ask that their rank be recognized. Unlike other groups we do not automatically accept ranks when accepting membership. Membership documents show no mention of rank. We do this to ensure we have the time to thoroughly vet information provided.
Once the process has been completed, a USBBF certificate of Rank Recognition will be issued and all supporting information recorded in your file.
For member schools, once an instructors rank has been verified and accepted, their students ranks are automatically accepted within established guidelines.
Black Belt members without current instructors (independents/Orphan Students) may work with the USBBF towards advancement following established policies and protocols. Previous USBBF ranking boards have been conducted nationwide.
Apply for International Rank Recognition. Show and be recognized for the years you've dedicated to the Arts with one of the oldest and most prestigious Martial Arts Organizations.
